As per Hindu Dharma mythology, there are different stories about Lord Ganesha. As told by Hindu mythology Lord Ganesha had obtained Gajaraj head or elephant head.

"Let's see How Ganesha Ji obtained his Gaja or Elephant Head?"

As per Hindu mythology on Shiva Purnima Lord Shiva killed a big monster named Gajasura and he was returning to Kailash Parvat, On that day Lord Shiva's wife Goddess Parvati was preparing for the bath. On the old days Nandi was stayed out side of the bathroom for protecting Goddess Parvati but that day nandi was absent so for keep guard of the door Parvati took some turmeric Paste (for her bath) from her Body and create a type of a boy and after some time she watched that turmeric boy and then she gave some power to that boy. When Goddess Parvati gave power to that turmeric boy at that time that turned into a real boy and that boy opened his eyes and looked at Goddess Parvati with full of love and lots of happiness. After Goddess Parvati watched a live boy she said with love Oh my child you are my son I just created you with full of love, power and gave life. After got life, Goddess Parvati instructed that boy to do the guard duty on the door and also told that don't allow any one until she finished her complete bath. That boy told Yes mother I will never allow anyone to disturb you while you are taking your bath.

As per instruction that boy did the guard work. After losing a long time on the war with Gajasura Lord Shiva finally killed Gajasura and returned to Kailash. When he reached at Kailash gate at that time he saw there was a boy and that boy was stopping his vehicle Nandi to enter Kailash. After Nandi Lord Shiva came near the door but the same case happened, That little boy did not allow Lord Shiva to enter Kailash. Lord Shiva was even more surprised when That boy Stopped him like Nandi.
At that time Lord Shiva was at angry mood but still, he controlled his Anger and told o boy move aside from the door, but that little boy told that I got a strict order for not allow any one so It's my duty to do not allow outside persons into the home. Lord Shiva was shocked and again told that boy that this is my house so there are full rights of me to enter my home, but still, that boy did not allow Lord Shiva to enter his home Kailash. Finally, the angry Lord Shiva decided that no matter what happens.

I will enter my house if it requires applying weapon to avoid the boy then I will use it. Lord Shiva sent some armies and other gods to tell the boy for leave that place. Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu and many gods told that boy to leave that place but that boy told that my mother Parvati told me to guard till my mother's bath completed.

At that time Lord Shiva was shocked that this is Parvati's son but I Don't know about it. Lord Shiva got angry that a little boy telling lie and was not giving respect him so Lord Shiva went to near the boy and try to remove the guard, as we know that Goddess Parvati gave powers to that body for the fight with anyone so that Little brave boy fought with Lord Shiva. Lord Shiva got angry and cut the boy's head from his body, at that time Goddess Parvati completed her bath and came out side and then saw that her little son was died with headless and felt on the ground. She was shocked and getting too fierce and fearful. Goddess Parvati thought that the whole god team killed her son so she got ready to fight with the whole god team. As we know the Nari Shakti is more power full than the man power so the whole god team and Lord Shiva felt sorrow after listening to the whole story or the little boy.

Goddess Parvati proceeded strong demand to her husband Lord Shiva that give her son's life back.
Lord Shiva confused that how he will give life to a body which had no head. After some time he ordered his army that bring the head of Gajasura and place that head on That little boy's body.
As per order the army team took that head of death Gajasur and joint that head on the remaining body of that boy. After that Lord Shiva gave life to that boy. After getting the life the little boy opened his

    Different kinds of Ganesha statue:

Ganesha is the most popular image figure in Indian art. Most in educational places available and also in some business places too, because Ganesha gives good thinking of knowledge for students
and for a business person good way to use their skill for more profit and make the family happy. In Ganesha statue, there are many kinds of statues available as he standing, dancing, heroically taking action against demons, playing with his family like a boy, sitting down or on an elevated seat, or engaging in a range of contemporary situations.

From the 6th century, Ganesha images were designed in many parts of India. As Ganesha has a head of an elephant and a big belly, this statue has four arms. Here he holds his own broken tusk in his lower-right hand and holds a delicacy, which he samples with his trunk, on his lower-left hand. In his lower-left hand tasting a sweet. In another statue like Ellora caves, here Ganesha holds an Axe or a goad in one upper arm and a pasha in the other upper arm.

Some statues made with human heads too. Different creators made the different design as their thinking of modifying the statue with a new look for the view. We have described as how Ganesha has an elephant head.

In the elephants head, here represented with five elephant heads named Heramba-Ganapati. Heramba-Ganapati is the most popular Ganesha statue.

Ekdanta was the earliest name of Ganesha, coz among the two teeth one tooth were broken and another teeth with one single trunk. Some statues made while he kept his one tusk. In the mudgala purana, states that the second name of Ganesha is Ekadanta(incarnation). As mention about these on the above all names were made with such kind of stories of Ganesha names.

Some Popular stories of Lord Ganesha:

"How Lord Ganesha show his love towards his parents?"

One of the great story among them which shows, what is the importance of our parents in our life. Once, Shiva and Parvati gave a fruit by the gods to their kids. Both Ganesha and Kartikeya were kids so they gone to their parents for making a decision who should be the main person of this fruit. So their parents make a deal as one who can circle the world three times and comes back first to us
would get it as the prize. Firstly, Kartikeya took his peacock, as his bahan and flew around the world to beat Ganesha. He was thinking Ganesha must come after me to our parents. so in hurry, he was going all across the world fastly for complete his three round. But here Ganesha didn't move yet, he got tensed here coz he has the only mouse which can't fly or go faster than Kartikeya's peacock. And he can't beat Kartikeya. After thinking so much time he got a good thought on that moment as for why should I go the whole world and he started to move across his parents with his vehicle "the mouse" for three times. When his parents asked why he was not circling the globe and circling
around here, he told that his mother and father are the whole worlds for him. So here is the whole world available no need to go further to travel the whole world.

When Kartikeya came after his world move three times and saw Ganesha was there, he got shocked and asked how Ganesha did it so fastly? After knowing all the truth he bowed to
Ganesha for his great thinking of mind.

This story gives a lot of lessons to us because for a kid his parents are everything. Except for his parents, nobody can't make happy or can't give unconditional love.

    Ganesha and Ravana Story:

We all know Ravana was the king of Lanka. He has the all powers to keep all lords on his feet and he was very ego nature. Vishravas and demon princess kaikesi were his father and mother. Ravana makes meditations for a long day to be the master of three worlds. After he gained his kingdom and made more strength by his meditation on the creator, Lord Brahma. Later he went to become to be the greatest devotees of lord shiva. Ravana's mother was a devotee of Lord Shiva so she always makes pray to Lord Shiva by making a shiva lingam with sand. But the sand made Shiva lingam were nearer to the sea water so the shiva lingam swallows in the plane every day after Ravana's mother
makes pray with that sand made lingam. She makes every day after the previous day of pray and this happens always. So, once Ravana's mother told to Ravana that she has to make a new and special lingam that she can pray every day without making a new one. So Ravana decided to get a lingam as his mother approaches for her pray. Ravana decided to have a lingam from lord Shiva himself for his mother. He started taking punishments on his body for please Lord Shiva to come in front of him and he will wish a lingam for his mother, he tried a lot but all go for none. So then after, he started to more severe methods of getting succeed. Firstly, he started cutting off his ten hands one by one and offering those hands to the sacrificial fire. He started to cut off nine of his ten heads, lastly, he was thinking to chop off the last one head, on that moment Shiva appeared at last in front of him. Lord Shiva pleased with Ravana's dedications and Shiva presented to Ravana with a special lingam. He described as "This lingam comes from Kailas, my nearer place. Take care of it, as it is a special one for you.

Place it on the ground only where you want to place it, but the place in the appropriate place, once you placed this on the ground it can't be moved. Remember this note and take it back carefully. And Lord Shiva gone after gave him lingam from that place. Due to many severe methods of Ravana's punishments, till that time Ravana was thrilled and started to his journey to home happily. But after this incident some gods were worried. All gods know how cruel and dangerous was Ravana, but the lingam at Lanka would make him stronger. So they planned to take that lingam away from him and not giving him back.

It was just their idea but no one has dared to tackle Ravana. They made a meeting for who can steal the lingam from Ravana. Lastly, they asked Ganesha for help. After hearing all the matter of Ravana, Ganesha agreed to take away that lingam from Ravana at any cost. He changed his look
and gone in the young Brahmin boy and followed Ravana. At that time, Ravana almost crossed half distance of Lanka and when the sun started to off. It was time for him to perform his night setting for taking rest in the clean place. He was not able to hold that lingam properly during make his ablutions on that time.

He knows what Lord Shiva told him "once placed on the ground can't move". So he didn't place the lingam on the ground. After that, he started to look around and hoping for any solutions for this problem, on that time his eyes fell on the young brahmin in the distance. The young brahmin was Ganesha as he changed his look. Ravana feels relax and smiled for got a person to help him and called to the little boy, who came running towards him. Ravana told him to make his ablutions and then asked him to hold that lingam for not to be grounded there. For some short while so that he could make refresh himself in the nearer river.

The little boy looked at the lingam and said as, "This lingam seems terribly heavy, I don't think I can hold  it for so long." Till that time sun was getting lower over the horizon and Ravana also getting more anxious. He assured that this lingam was not too heavy to the little boy, and he could back hurry. Then the little boy took the lingam, and groaned as if the lingam was too heavy. "it's all right for you to say that it's not heavy" said that little boy. "You are so big that it might feel light to you. It is too heavy for me to hold. And I will hold it for as long as I can. But after that, I will call out to you thrice. If you don't come instantly after the third time of my calling, I will keep it down." Ravana requested to the child do not keep the lingam down at any cost, and rushed towards the river. The little boy waited for Ravana's incident to reach near the river. When Ravana was knee deep in the water, before calling out. "The lingam is getting too heavy. Come soon!"

Ravana hurried for his prayers, and he started to finish all. Before he could finish, the little boy called out the second time. He now positively raced through his all rest of prayers and hurried back towards him. But the boy called out a third time, and just as Ravana was reaching, till that moment lingam was placed on the ground! With a fumbled face, Ravana rushed and tried to pull the lingam out from the ground. But that time it seemed to have grown roots instantly and refused to de-attach from the ground. Ravana tried a lot for a pull out from the ground but he failed to pull out the lingam. All ages of Ravana now directed on the little boy. "How dare you keep the lingam down!" he started to cry, and with his fist, Ravana hit the little boy's head! Suddenly, in the place of the little boy, there stood Ganesha. After seeing Ganesha on there Ravana understood that this was all the doing of all gods, and he hit himself on his head with his knuckles.

    Ganesha and Kaveri Story:

Kaveri is one of the holiest rivers of other seven holiest rivers. In south India, she is considered as holier than the Ganga river! This river originated in the heart of the western ghats. As with all rivers of India, Kaveri considered as a goddess and originated at Talakaveri has an interesting story behind it, in which Ganesha was included in the story. Kavera ruled over south India. He and his wife were kind and well-loved rulers of there, there had one sad thing in their life as there were childless. So they prayed to Brahma, who blessed them as they will get a baby girl soon, who came to know as Kaveri- the daughter of kavera.

When Kaveri got her marriageable age, she was refusing to marry all of the kings those are presenting her their suit as the gift. But she was interested in being a wife of someone who has extraordinary power and who could able to compare with even Brahma, the creator, who given blessings to a king for her. So she went to the sahya mountains for meditating on the creator to get her wishes fulfilled. That time Lord Shiva was getting married to Parvati, who was the daughter of Himavan. All the gods, demi gods, celestial beings, sages, and even humans were to witness the divine marriage, and the weight in the northern part of the continent sounds. And the earth seems to shake as her balance unsettled. Lord Shiva was got info about it, so he started to convey with guests to leave before this marriage party goes over. Then he turned to the man he could rely on the great sage Agasthya. Lord Shiva instructed to that sage to go south, as he has the superior powers and can help to make extra weight on the north side for help to stop the shaking of the earth. As Agastya was a wise person in front of his lord so he can't disobey Lord Shiva's order but at that moment he had a question. If he goes to south then how could he witness the marriage, which one he came to see? Lord Shiva knows it would be his question so he replied him if the sage agreed to go south for help the maintain balance. So he would be the witness of this marriage as this incident happens in this time and in his knowing. The sage agreed on there but he has still one more question. He needs water for his need and the place he had there was no sign of water like no river no other sources for water too. How can he able to make it? After hearing this question Lord Shiva got an idea and told him to go to the mission sage needs would take care of, and Agasthya starts his mission. After Sage Agasthya arrives on the sahya mountains got relaxed and made a balance. Here, the sage saw a beautiful girl was on Kaveri river and who were making penance on that river. After the sage saw this scene got shocked in a deep jungle and a very beautiful girl making penance in alone. So he asked her reason of making penance here. After hearing from the girl's quest, he got a laugh and saying her as there is no one who could compare to Brahma, and her quest was a foolish too. But Kaveri was not listening any of sage. She was damn sure as there would be a man for her and which one created by Brahma that he could arrive there and claim her for marry. After a long conversation between sage and Kaveri, sage notices her and finally told her for marrying him. After hearing this from sage, Kaveri got shocked but she realized that he is the person whom she searching for, and she agreed. After that, she made one request to her future husband. She wanted to help her fellows and wanted to remember forever.

And also she wanted to become a part of a river, which would care for her land. And with the other half of her, she would love to be the wife of the sage. Then the sage agreed for these, accordingly she turned half part of her into a river. Sage did all work with the remembering of Shiva's promise of water provide wherever need to him for need, but sage neglected to let her loose on the land, kept her in his kamandalu-(its a water container he carried around with him). Time spent and both Kaveri and Agasthya lived in peace. The gods returned to Shiva's marriage, and they make more attention on the matters. One of the most matter was the issue of water only in the southern part of the country. People were suffering for water, all humans praying constantly for any water source to their gods to make any solve their problems, one of them remembered as the sage Agasthya and the river carried in his kamandalu in the time of Shiva's marriage with Shiva's permission. There was no doubt as Kaveri was inside of river as she was half part of her lives river to the land and makes it helpful. Although, she was a daughter of Brahma, and which one never goes dry up. But Kaveri was placed in the perfect spot of mountain ranges which overlooked the plains of southern India. She understood that she can make a solution of this problem, but she realized that yet she in the tiny vessel of the powerful sage's hand. How can she able to release from there without Sage's permission to help peoples? The gods after a long discussion turned to Ganesha for help. They know that he can make it with his bit and wisdom, would find a better solution for this problem without making any more problems. Ganesha makes a way for the sahya mountains to find the way to keep Kaveri out from the sage's kamandalu. Ganesha arrived there, saw sage were busy in meditating, and his kamandalu was there by his side. Suddenly, Ganesha turned in to a crow and sat on the sage's kamandalu.
After that Sage saw a crow sat on his kamandalu and he raise his hands for remove that crow, that time Kaveri was on the top of kamandalu and ready to fly with that crow. So, here Ganesha make free the Kaveri from Sage's kamandalu and then Kaveri started as a river forever. So like this Ganesha made the Kaveri river. Kaveri river is the one of the biggest river India, which sustains the millions of people on her water. It is a most interesting story of Ganesha how he helped Kaveri to become a river from Sage's kamandalu.

    Mere ladle Ganesh pyare pyare

    Mere vighna vinaashak deva,
    sabase pahle karen teri seva

    Saare jag me anand chhaaya,
    bolo jay jay Gajaanand deva

    Baaje sur aur taal,
    tera gun gaaye sansaar
    Ghungharoo ki khanak khanaka jaana,
    aa jaana

    Mere ladle Ganesh pyare pyare
Bhole Baba ji ki aankhon ke taare
Prabhu sabha beech me aa jaana, aa jaana
    Mere ladle Ganesh pyare pyare

    Mere ladle Ganesh pyare pyare
Bhole Baba ji ki aankhon ke taare

    Mere ladle Ganesh pyare pyare
